Mel would like to thank:
My father and mother: you’ve been so instrumental in making me the man I am today. Thanks for never giving up on me even when I’ve given you so many reasons to do so. Matt Goldman, Chris Garmon, Lane Johnson, and Kent Holmes for helping me make a record I’m proud of. Chris for an amazing experience co-writing this record. Hunter, Troy, Alex, BMI’s David Classeen for being amazing musicians to work with in the studio. Every single person involced in post production and production of this record. Andy Hull, David Bazan, and TW Walsh for encouraging words and inspiration during the process. To every single one of my friends from back home and all over the world. Every couch I’ve ever crashed on, meals you’ve bought me, cigarettes, drinks you’ve bought me, clothes you’ve bought me, rides you’ve given me, all got me along to this moment. This record is for you. And thanks to my Creator for giving me a gift to share with others.
Chris would like to thank:
Each and everyone who made this possible for us. There are so many of you, thank you ALL. This record made a home for songs and lyrics that have sat dusty and dormant in my heart for years. A huge thank you to Mel Washington for the experience, opportunity, help, and guidance that brought this to life and got these meaningful words and ideas out. I look forward to writing another! You are forever my brother & I love you.
